Born in Oyama, Tochigi prefecture. Began his training in Mashiko in 1972. Built a kiln and went independent in 1975. Selected for the New Traditional Crafts Exhibition, Musashino Exhibition, North Kanto Art Exhibition. Primarily focused on white slip ware.
