1953-femalemashiko potteryFrom Kyoto. Graduated from the Department of Ceramics at Hiyoshigaoka High School in Kyoto. Later worked as an Instructor at a pottery school. Moved to Mashiko in 1978 and started making ceramics. Started a kiln in 1979 and became independent.
