Born in Yokohama City. Graduated from Nihon University. Studied under Kato Sumeru. Has won prizes at the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition, the New Works Exhibition, and the Kanagawa Prefecture Exhibition. Works mainly with ash glaze and high-fired unglazed ceramics.
