Born in Tokoname City. He has been making kyusu teapots since 1971. Selected for the Tokai Traditional Craft Exhibition. Member of the Tokoname Handmade Kyusu Association.

1950 Born in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
1969 Graduated from Aichi Prefectural Tokoname High School, Ceramics Department.
1971 Established Hosei studio.
1977 Exhibited at the 1st Contemporary Sencha Exhibition. Exhibited several times thereafter.
1983 Mayor’s Prize at the Exhibition for the Promotion of Ceramic Industry.
1984 Chairman’s Prize, Exhibition for the Promotion of Ceramic Industry.
1986 Selected, Tokai Traditional Craft Exhibition. Selected for the Chozo Prize at the Crafts Exhibition. Honorable Mention, Chozo Prize, Ceramic Industry Exhibition.
1987 Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Encouragement Prize, 1st Japan Sencha Craft Exhibition. Exhibited at the 2nd National Cultural Festival. Selected for the Third Prize, Ceramic Art Exhibition.
2001 Exhibited at the World Ceramics Expo 2001, Republic of Korea.
2016 Passed away.
