Born in Osaka. Started as a graphic designer and became a potter from 1979. His work was selected for exhibitions such as the Chunichi International Ceramic Art Exhibition, the Aasahi Ceramic Art Exhibition, the Tokai Traditional Craft Exhibition, and Asahi Craft Exhibition. Held numerous solo exhibitions. He was a lecturer at the Department of Ceramic Arts at the Osaka Prefectural College for the Elderly.
