Born in Iwate Prefecture. Learned craft design and later moved to crafting pottery. Completed Aichi Prefecture Vocational Training in Ceramics School. Later he used the local clay from Iwaizumi, he added glaze and used the nunonuri-method. His works were selected for exhibitions such as the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition.
