When he was in high school, he admired Kitaoji Rosanjin and aspired to become a potter. Studied under Yamamoto Kozan II from Toyama Prefecture, who helped Rosanjin. Received awards at the City Exhibition, Toyama Prefectural Exhibition, and Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition. Group exhibitions at Takaoka City Museum and others. Focuses on high-fired unglazed ceramics.
