From Seto City. Graduated from Tama Art University with a major in sculpture. Has toured countries around the world. His works have been exhibited in sculpture exhibitions in the Aichi Prefecture Art Museum, as well as in the New Representational Sculpture Exhibition in the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum. Won the Asahi Ceramics Exhibition Grand Prix. Selected for the Modern Craft Exhibition and others. Has held solo exhibitions in Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi, Nagoya Matsuzakaya and elsewhere. Has taken part in the Seven Colors Exhibition in Seibu Ikebukuro and the Five Colors Exhibition in Japan Okaro. Has been a lecturer in the Aichi University of Education since 1977.
