From Seto. From a pottery for Akazu ware. Trained in the Nagoya National Industrial Research Institute. Founded the Minoru Toen pottery in 1970. Successively director and consultant of the Seto Craft Association. Has had solo exhibitions in Sweden, Peru, Argentina, etc. His works are preserved permanently in art museums in various countries. Has had solo exhibitions in Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, etc.
