Born in Tokyo. Graduated from the Faculty of Literature, Toyo University. Left the literary world to enter the ceramic world. Established Kaizouji Kiln in Hayakawa, Odawara City and became independent. Selected for the New Traditional Craft Exhibition. Invited to exhibit at the Contemporary Teacups and Sake Cups Exhibition, and has held consecutive solo exhibitions since 1981. His works include vases and tea ceremony utensils using high-fired unglazed ceramics, ash glaze, and silver glaze.
