Graduated from Nanzan University. Studied under his father Kihachiro and inherited the family business. Received the Aichi Governor’s Prize and the Honorable Mention at the Tokai Traditional Craft Exhibition. Selected for the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition and Chunichi International Exhibition. Mainly works with high-fired unglazed ceramics and carved patterns. Full member of Japan Kogei Association.
