Born in Taguchi, Gero Town. Joined the Nippon Ceramic Club in 1971, and after working at Fudo Kiln in Toki, established his own kiln in 1977. He was selected for the Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition and the Tokai Traditional Craft Exhibition. He has been a member of the Japan Ceramic Club since 1971. Mainly works with ash glaze, powder glaze, and blue and white.
