Born in Kyoto. Graduated from the Ceramics Department of Osaka University of Arts. Graduated from Kyoto Industrial Research Institute. Received his first Nitten award while still in school. Purchased by the Kyoto Prefectural Government. Second prize at the All Kansai Exhibition. Received the Yomiuri Newspaper Award at the Japan New Craft Exhibition. He has held exhibitions with his father Ryozo and others in various places. A combination of white matte glaze and relief.
