Born in Tokoname. Studied under Mizuno Josen. Awarded the Governor’s Prize at the Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition, ’78. International Prize, International Export Ceramic Exhibition. Japan Contemporary Art Exhibition, Craft Prize. Choza Prize, etc. Selected for Chinichi International Exhibition and others. Solo exhibition at Maruei Department Store in Nagoya. Member of Japan Genko-kai. Works mainly with ash glaze and iron kiln.
