agano pottery
They first studied Western-style painting, and later studied under Takatori ware Sasayama Toko. In 1974, they opened their own kiln, Agano ware Seizan kiln, in Akaike, Fukuoka Prefecture. In addition to green and blue glaze, they use powder glaze and inlay.
