Born in Kyoto City. Graduated from Hiyoshioka High School, Department of Arts and Crafts. Completed the Kyoto Industrial Research Institute. Established her own kiln in Mashiko in 1972. Her work has been selected for the Women’s Ceramic Art Exhibition and others. She uses mainly straw ash glaze and other ash glazes to create patterns with fluency. Solo exhibitions and group exhibitions.
