Born in Osaka. Studied under Yagi Kazuo and Kondo Yutaka. She studied in Italy in 1976, and returned to Japan in 1979. Built a kiln in Ikoma-gun, Nara Prefecture in 1983. Exhibited at the Faenza International Exhibition and the Ceramic Plate Painting Exhibition at Ginza Wako.
