Born in Osaka. Aspired to become a potter around 1970. Graduated from the Department of Art History, Faculty of Letters, Waseda University in 1975. She won the Newcomer’s Prize at the Women’s Ceramic Art Exhibition and is a member of the exhibition. She is a member of Osaka Ceramic Art School. Mainly hand-twists.
