He has maintained the traditional Tokoname technique and works at the Horaku Kiln. He has been awarded many prizes at the Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition, Chunichi International Ceramic Art Exhibition, the Tokai Traditional Craft Exhibition, the International Ceramic Design Competition, and the Chozo Prize Ceramic Art Exhibition. He works mainly with ash glaze, cinnabar, and other materials for urns and flower vases.
