Born in Gojozaka, Kyoto. Graduated from Kyoto Art School and Kyoto Art College (now Kyoto University of Arts). Trained at the National Ceramic Testing Institute. Studied under Kiyomizu Rokubei VI. Founding member of the Kyoto Ceramic Artists Club. Selected for Nitten exhibition and others. Awarded the Craft Prize at the Kofu-kai Exhibition, Member Prize, Member and Judge. Awarded by various newspapers. Kyoto Ceramic Society Award. Purchased by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Member of Nisshin-Koren, Kyoto Industrial Cooperative, and Kyoto Art Association.
