Established Genshichi Kiln and Pottery Studio Sayuhogen in Kobe. Graduated from the Department of Ceramics, Osaka University of Arts. Began working under Shirai Hanshi IX. Unaffiliated. Holds solo exhibitions as well as annual pottery exhibitions in Kobe and Takarazuka. Works with vases, tea ceremony utensils, and tableware. Also overglaze painting.
