Takano Shoami 1st 初代 高野昭阿弥

1905-?
After training under Gojozaka, Kyoto potter Shibata Nyoami, he received the pen name Shoami from his teacher around 1930 and opened a kiln in Imakumano, becoming independent.
Since then, he has produced teacups and matcha wares, centering on shozui and akae styles, as well as dyeing.
