Born in Tokyo. Studied pottery making under his father, Issui. Mainly produces Raku ware inherited from his father Suekichi. Inherited Yoshimitsu Kiln after the death of his father. He also presided over the Raku pottery exhibition at Matsuzakaya in Ueno following in his father’s footsteps. His work has been selected for the Toko-kai.
