Born in Kanagawa Prefecture. Studied under Yamamoto Masatoshi. Completed the Ibaraki Ceramics Training Institute. Later built a kiln in Kasama City. Selected for the New Traditional Craft Exhibition. Works mainly with high-fired unglazed ceramics.
