Born in Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture. After working at Tsukamoto Pottery in Mashiko, built a kiln in 1973. Selected for the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition, the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition, and others. Awarded the Minister of International Trade and Industry Prize at the Saitama Ceramic Art Exhibition, and was a judge at the same exhibition. Full member of Japan Kogei Association. Works mainly with ash glaze, and inlay.
