Born in Fukuchiyama, Kyoto Prefecture, she graduated from the Fukui Prefectural Ceramics Research Institute in 1968, and in the following year, she founded the pottery group “Myou no Kai”. In 1980, she opened the Myo Pottery Studio in Echizen Miyazaki Village. Held a three-person exhibition with Shigehiko and Tomoko in Ginza Matsuya Department Store and Fukuchiyama. Her works are mainly hand-twisted pots, vases, and tea sets.
