Graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 1973. Awarded prizes at the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition, the New Works Exhibition, and others. Creates fresh decorations using inlay, perforations, and other techniques. Full member of Japan Kogei Association.
