Born in Tokoname. Graduated from Tokoname High School. Trained in Seto. Became independent in 1975. Selected for the Chozo Prize Ceramic Art Exhibition, Tokai Traditional Craft Exhibition, Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition, and others. Solo exhibitions at Tobien, Ichinomiya Gallery Shiki, Nagoya Gallery Akane, etc. He works mainly with clay kneading, inlay, black glaze, iron glaze.
