Born in Tokyo. Graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, Department of Crafts. Studied under Miyanohara Ken. Worked for the Nippon Ceramic Private Club and opened the Nisai Studio in Tokoname City in 1974. Participated in Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition, Faenza International Exhibition, and others. Participated in an exhibition at Mitsukoshi Nihombashi, an exhibition at Takashimaya Department Store, the eight-person exhibition at Meitetsu, and the five-person ceramic exhibition at Gallery Gen Akasaka. Focuses on mud and silver paint.
