1953-
Born in Inbe. Graduated from Bizen High School. Influenced by Matsuda Kazan and Matsui Yoshiyuki and trained by his uncle-in-law Shibaoka Koichi. After completing a course at the Ceramics Center, he worked at the Prefectural Industrial Research Institute and built a kiln in 1975. Received the Issuikai Award and is a member. He has been awarded prizes at the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition, the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition, the Shinsho Exhibition, the Nitten exhibition, the International Ceramics Exhibition, and Chunichi International Exhibition. Solo exhibitions at Ikebukuro Seibu, Ginza Matsuya, Kurashiki Tenmaya store and others.
