1981 Graduated from Waseda University. Studied under Takita Shoichi.
1986 Built a kiln in a temporary house in Kitsuregawa-machi, Tochigi Prefecture.
2002 Moved to a new studio in Yaita City, Tochigi Prefecture
Selected for the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition, National Newcomer’s Prize
Awarded the Encouragement Prize at the Japan Mingei-kan Exhibition
Awarded the Jury Prize at the Mashiko Ceramic Art Exhibition
