Born in Funaki-cho, Ehime Prefecture. Born to the head of the Soshin school of flower arrangement. Studied under Yano Kan’ichi of the Otani Kiln. Established his first kiln in 1978. Received the Shinsho Prize at the Shinsho Craft Exhibition and others. Special Prize at the Prefectural Exhibition. Ehime Ceramic Art Exhibition, Person Prize. Selected for the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition and the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition. Focused on high-fired unglazed ceramics, inlay and ash glaze.
