Second son of Ikkai. After graduating from Okayama Kansai High School, he studied under his father and older brother Nobuyoshi. Became independent in 1981. Awarded prizes at the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition, the East Chugoku Branch Exhibition, the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition, Chunichi International Exhibition, the Issuikai Exhibition, and others. He has had solo exhibitions at Shinjuku Odakyu Department Store and is a regular member of Japan Kogei Association.
