Born in Tokoname. Selected for the Nitten. Awarded the Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition Excellence Prize, Grand Prize, ’74 Prize, etc., and was a judge at the same exhibition. He has been a juror at the same exhibition. Choza Prize and many others. Juror, Japan Contemporary Industrial Arts Exhibition. Solo exhibitions at Minami Aoyama Green Gallery, Signum Kyoto, Matsuzakaya Nagoya and others. Mainly works with ash glaze.
