His real name is Takashi. Studied under his father Yasushi. Became independent in 1967. Awarded prizes at the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition, the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition, the Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition, the Chunichi International Jealousy Exhibition, and others. Received the Chozo Prize at the Chozo Prize Ceramics Exhibition. Member of Tokoname Craft Association and Tokai Branch of Japan Kogei Association. His main techniques are kneading, red clay, and scorched surface coloring.
