Born in Miyazaki City. Graduated from Keijo First High School. Studied Korean Goryeo and Yi Dynasty ceramics. After the war, she returned to Japan and worked with her husband, Shakuzan, in Fukuoka. Received the highest award at the Kyushu Contemporary Craft Exhibition. Her work has been selected for the Nitten and other exhibitions. Member of the Fukuoka Prefecture Art Association. Invited to the City Exhibition.
