Born in Miyagi Prefecture. Graduated from Miyagi Normal School. After working as a teacher, he studied under Daiguji Takahito in Mashiko in 1967, and built a kiln in Sendai in 1972, and another at the foot of Mt. Zaoh. He has been awarded prizes at the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition and others. Clay kneading, Zogan. Mainly perforated. Associate member of Japan Kogei Association.
