Graduated from Tajimi Technical High School. Studied at a laboratory in Toki, and later trained under Hayashi Kotaro for six years. Later established the Sawarabi Kiln in Tajimi and became independent. He mainly produces tableware using Oribe, Shino, and Kizeto.
