Trained in pottery making from the age of 12. Built a kiln in the traditional Takatori ware area in 1970. Won the Minister of Education’s Prize at the Japan Arts and Crafts Exhibition. Tea containers, water jars, tea bowls, flower vases, and other tea utensils in general.
