Born in Tokyo. Graduated from Waseda Jitsugyo. Studied under Kamoda Shoji. Became independent in 1966. Awarded prizes at the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition and others. Solo exhibitions at Ikebukuro Seibu and others. Works mainly with black pottery and ash glaze.
