He has inherited the tradition of the folk kiln and creates pottery with his father Kumao. Awarded the Prefectural Governor’s Prize at the Prefectural Exhibition, the Japan Mingeikan Prize, the West Japan Ceramics Competition Governor’s Prize, the Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition Prize, and many others. Director of the Prefectural Artist’s Association. Committee member of the judging committee for the prefectural exhibition.
