Born in Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture. Graduated from Seto Ceramic School in Aichi Prefecture. Studied at his father’s kiln and inherited it. Awarded the Excellence Prize at the West Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition and others. Awarded a prize at the Japan Traditional Craft Exhibition and others. Mainly engaged in dyeing, coloring and underglaze painting. A regular member of the Japan Industrial Arts Association.
