Born in Brazil. Graduated from Gakushuin University in 1977, and worked as an instructor at the Takigawa City Pottery Center in Hokkaido. After graduating from Gifu Prefectural Tajimi High School, he worked as an instructor at the Takigawa City Ceramics Center in Hokkaido. Awarded the Mitsukoshi Prize at the New Traditional Craft Exhibition and the Hokkaido Newspaper Award at the same Sapporo Touring Exhibition. Participated in a series of exhibitions organized by the Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art. His works are mainly blue and white porcelain.
