His real name is Shoji. Graduated from Arita Youth School. Studied under his father Tadaemon I. In 1975, he became the second generation to take over the business. Made mainly white porcelain vases, large plates and bowls, mainly in the same style as his father, who was famous as a master of the large scale wheel. He has won prizes at the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition and other competitions. He is a regular member of the Japan Industrial Arts Association.
