Graduated from Musashino Art University in Tokyo in 1969. Later became independent at the Marubashira kiln, ascending kiln that originated Iga ware and once mass-produced miscellaneous vessels. Created flower bowls, tea sets, and tableware with the modern designs of hollow reliefs, geometric patterns, and pressed patterns.
