His real name is Osaku. Studied under Kato Shunkaku and inherited the kicking wheel techniques of his predecessor, Higashiyama, who was reputed to be close to modern Akatsu ware master Shunkai. Mainly made Kizeto, Furu-seto and Oribe tea ceremony utensils.
