Born in Seto City. Self-taught in the study and creation of ceramic dolls. Awarded the Education Committee Prize at the Seto City Exhibition. Awarded the Mainichi Newspaper Award and the Excellence Prize. Exhibited at the Tokai Traditional Craft Exhibition and the Japan Artists Association Exhibition.
