From Izushimoda. Learned from her father Tomojiro and her uncle the first Egawa Sessai. Built a kiln in Kamakura in 1980. Has held solo exhibitions at Shinjuku Odakyu, Isetan, and Shibuya Kuroda Pottery. Mainly makes Raku ware.
