From Mashiko. Graduated from Mooka Girls’ High School. Joined Haniwa Toen Pottery in 1968. Studied under Furukawa Takahisa and Toshiko. Set up independently in 1975. Selected for the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition and the New Works Exhibition. Regular member of the Japan Crafts Association. Focuses on tableware with red painting.
