Nakano Geirin the 4th but remaned Tochi. Graduated from the Osaka University of economics. Studied under his father Geirin. Trained at the Arita Ceramics Research Institute, and later became the fourth-generation successor of the Nakano Kiln. Served as director of the Karatsu Ware Cooperative. Has held solo exhibitions at Nihonbashi Takashimaya, Osaka Hanshin and elsewhere. Successfully restored the image of the four sages at Takusei Temple, a tangible cultural asset. Focuses on tea bowls and engraved pottery.
